Restoration Casa Museo de Rosalía de Castro

Desarrolla has finished restoration of the ground floor of the house/museum of Rosalía de Castro, thereby fulfilling its commitment to the Council of Culture, Education, and University Training, co-financed with FEDER funds.

Xesús Vazquez, of the Council for Culture and Education, presided over the inauguration of the renovated exhibition area, and reviewed the renewed installations along with various persons from the worlds of culture and politics.  Among those present were  the president of the Rosalía Foundation, Anxo Angueira, the general secretaries of Culture and Linguistic Policy Anxo Lorenzo and  Valentin Garcia, the Mayor of Padrón, Antonio Fernandez, the Counsellor of Culture Carmen Lois, and other directors of cultural organizations.  Annual conventions between the Cultural Council and the Rosalía Foundation were signed during the event.

The Museum was re-opened to the public on Saturday, March 16.
