Raiola Foundation Senior Residence

Rehabilitation and extension of the Raiola Foundation retirement home, located in Betanzos, A Coruña, seen by architect Antonio Pernas Varela.

The intervention has consisted of the rehabilitation of the existing building conditioning both the facade and its interior, distributed between rooms, bathrooms and kitchenette.

In contrast to the aforementioned residential construction, a new body of metal and concrete structure, and exterior zinc paneling is constructed throughout the envelope. Inside there are several common areas that complement and expand the existing facilities of 300 m2 approx.

In addition, urbanization works have been carried out, installing asphalt pavements and concrete slabs in the different circulation.
