Refurbishment of a modern duplex

Global refurbishment of a 160 m2 duplex located on Vereda del Polvorín Street in A Coruña, according to the project of architects Marta Felpeto and Germán Barja.

The house, distributed in two levels, has a large open space on the ground floor, a kitchen-living room, laundry room, bathroom, indoor botanical garden and a terrace. On the upper floor the night area includes a studio, two bedrooms and a bathroom.

It should be noted the design staircase executed in folded steel sheet, covered with a board that combines with the floor of the house, polished industrial parquet with a matte water varnish finish.

The botanical garden is the most unique space of the house. It is delimited outwards by a translucent u-glass enclosure armed with vents and by sliding glass doors inside.
