Art Deco style for a new refurbishment in Paris

Desarrolla Obras y Servicios executes a complete refurbishment of a stylish duplex on boulevard Saint-Germain, one of the main axes of the Latin Quarter in Paris. More than 250 square metres distributed over two floors make up the property.

The project, drawn up by the LUV ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN Studio, includes a total redistribution of the rooms. The lower floor, which serves as the day area, houses a large space combining a kitchen-living-dining room. This level also has a complete bedroom, a toilet and a wine cellar. On the upper floor there are two en-suite bedrooms, which become the night area.

The most characteristic feature of the house is its finishings, as it has high quality materials that give a distinctive touch to each room. The Nero Marquina stone cladding is the main feature of the project. This material is used to decorate the stairs that articulate the space, as well as to clad all the bathroom in the house.

Without losing the Parisian essence, the property has details such as the mouldings that surround each room and bring modernity to the home. Similarly, the finishes of the furniture and and doors provide continuity and uniformity to the space, taking into account that they are flush.
