The functionality of mobile partitions

Comprehensive housing remodeling in Benito Corbal street, in Pontevedra city center.

The project carried out by architects Sara Besada, Cristina Rodriguez and Elena Ameal, has managed to organize a home through the intelligent use of partitions and mobile windows that allow space segregation or unification depending on the owner´s needs.

The house (100 m2 approx.) has a living room with a terrace, a versatile kitchen with the possibility of expanding or reducing its surface, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dressing room.

The materials used obey to different criteria depending on the use of the rooms, predominantly the use of solid oak flooring in most of the surface of the house. The use of ceramic flooring has been reserved for wet areas, just as granite tile has only been laid out on the terrace.

Desarrolla has carried out the works in a total of three months, thus fulfilling the initial objectives.
