Improved accessibility Lugo Wall

The Galician Regional Ministry of Culture awarded to Desarrolla the expected works to improve the accessibility of the Roman Wall of Lugo, that is declared a Patrimony of the Humanity by the UNESCO.

The intervention would consist in the construction of a lift in order to give easier access to the chemin de ronde of the Norwest of the fortress, exactly in The council office´s Gardens area.

The project has been awarded to Architecture studio Pernas Varela Arquitectos, who will design a lift safeguarding the cultural values of the Roman Wall of Lugo and the historic centre within the walls of the Lugo city.

With this awarding, Desarrolla Restoration completes their intervention in all Galician monument included in the list of the UNESCO.
