A solution inspired by the Malaga Airport

More operational and better visibility. This is the new Fauna Control Service that we have carried out at Gran Canaria airport and which is aesthetically integrated into the architectural ensemble of the terminal.

After a preliminary design based on the project “New building for the fauna control service” at Malaga Airport, it has been possible to provide the building with greater operational security with this project awarded by AENA.

The building, occupying an area of 800m2, is made up of five units on a single floor, arranged around a central garden for the birds. This has been located at the point with the least slope of the plot, to reduce earthworks and obtain a better visibility of the airport.
